After a brief clash between Thai and Cambodian soldiers at Chong Bok, Nam Yuen District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, in which one Cambodian soldier was killed, leading to negotiations between the Thai and Cambodian army commanders yesterday (29 May 2015), which led to a joint conclusion in 3 approaches: 1. Resolving the border issue in the form of a Joint Border Demarcation Committee (JBC), which will be expedited within 2 weeks; 2. Having troops retreat 200 meters from the clash point; 3. Building relationships between unit commanders to prevent further clashes in the area.
